What does "hand-made" mean for Envy Carlour?
When we say all of our items are entirely hand crafted, we mean it in the truest sense of the world. Our designs are engineered in house. Every single piece of leather is meticulously sourced, drawn on, cut, glued, and stitched by hand. There is not a single machine in our workshop, other than our hardware presser - which is still manually cranked by hand! We take pride in our objects being shaped by the experience of bringing them to life.
What is full-grain leather?
Full-grain leather is the highest grade of leather. It’s made from the top layer of the hide, with the natural grain left completely intact. It hasn’t been sanded, buffed, or heavily corrected to remove imperfections, so you still see the hide’s natural markings and character. Because the outermost layer remains intact, the leather keeps its densest, toughest fibres making it hardy and durable.
Where are our leathers sourced?
We source our leathers from a local supplier here in Melbourne, Australia who specialises in high quality leathers from Argentina, Brazil, Italy and the UK.

Can I get my order fast tracked?
If you need your order before a certain date, we offer express production for an extra fee.
Do you ever go on sale?
We are a small independent brand subverting fast fashion and trend culture by being intention and integrity driven. This means honouring fair wages, and prioritising high quality over short cutting production costs. Because of this, we do not engage in "sale culture".
It is on a very rare occasion we have discounts, and it is entirely a showing of gratuity to our ever growing community and their support.
How do I care for my leathers?
Keep them away from water, extreme heat and direct sunlight. Be mindful around sharp objects that could scratch or scar your item.
If dirty, wipe clean with a leather cleaner, and moisturise periodically with a good quality leather conditioner.
If your items do get wet, wipe off excess water and lay your item flat to maintain its shape in a dry area out of direct sunlight.
What if I need to return an item?
Please note that due to the made-to-order nature of our items we do not accept refunds on any goods once they are received.
If you change your mind, you have 48 hours from the time of purchase to contact us and arrange a refund before production commences.
For ease of mind and to honour our commitment to quality and sustainability, we offer a lifetime of free repairs (sans shipping) for our items.
